Edwina Bartholomew celebrated a family milestone on Monday.

The Sunrise reporter took time out to wish her daughter Molly a “happy birthday” during the live broadcast.

Sharing the entertainment news about American singer Billie Eilish on the US skit show Saturday Night Live, Edwina told viewers it was the Ocean Eyes singer’s birthday.

“Billie is also celebrating her 22nd birthday today, alongside other major stars,” Edwina said.

Edwina then let the panel know it was her daughter’s birthday.

“And my daughter, Molly, who shares a birthday with Keith Richards,” she said.

Edwina shares two children with her journalist husband, Neil Varcoe — Molly, 4, and Tom, 1.

Edwina and Neil welcomed Molly in December 2019.

The couple later extended their brood with Tom in March last year.

Edwina and Neil are often open about their private life, after they recently announced they had bought a historic hotel The Victoria in Carcoar, NSW, which they planned to renovate.

In September, Edwina recently spent two weeks away from screens as the couple focused on the renovation.

In an Instagram post, Eddy explained how she and husband Neil had achieved a lot while she had been away from her day job.

The pair have been focused on outside work, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, clearing fences, “hacking away at bushes” and pressure cleaning.

Previously, Eddy explained how Neil had left behind is role in digital media to help with the development of The Victoria.

“We had to sell our house in Sydney to do it,” Eddy told the Hosting With Heart podcast, about the decision to buy the property.

“My husband had been working in tech for Twitter, so for us, instead of a big mortgage in Sydney, we thought we would invest in a business that we could build for our family.”

Edwina first announced in May that she and her writer husband had taken on the rural hotel project.

“We just sold our house … and bought a hotel,” she wrote on May 7.

“In 1846, the Victoria Hotel was built on the banks of the Belubula River in Carcoar.

“It was a single story inn, visited by locals, travellers and the odd bushranger.

“177 years later, on that very same parcel of land, The Victoria returns to welcome a new generation of guests.”
