The budget jug claims to remove harmful elements from water, leaving behind a refreshing batch.

It’s also BPA free and includes a filter that reduces element that may be found in water — including aluminum, copper, zinc, chlorine, lead and pesticides.

The filter jug has a capacity for 1.8 litres of filtered water and a total capacity of 3.3 litres.

Many shoppers raved they have found an affordable alternative to Brita’s water filter jug, which are priced from $44.

“I’ve always used Brita but sometimes buy the Kmart filters as they are the same. Definitely a big difference in taste,” one said.

Another shared: “Kmart you have done it again. Water tastes better in this, my son could taste the difference and is drinking more water. Might go get another one so we can have fresh filtered water every day.”

The water filter jug has a 4.7-star rating on Kmart — with many customers sharing their rave reviews on the product.

“Great buy, I have saved a lot of money by not buying spring water or bottled water anymore since buying this,” said one.
